Nagpur: All India Brahmin Federation organised a scooter rally on Parshuram Jayanti, which coincided with Akshaya Tritiya on Sunday, across central, south Nagpur.Hundreds gathered to offer worship to Lord Parshuram as the rally set off after prayers led by MLA Pravin Datke at Agyaram Devi temple. An idol of the deity placed on decorated chariot became focal point of the rally.The rally maintained a steady momentum, accompanied by chants of “Jai Parshuram”, rhythmic drum beats and traditional performances. Citizens assembled at junctions along the route to shower flowers and welcome the participants.The rally culminated at Trikoni Maidan in Hanuman Nagar with prayers. BJP Nagpur city president Dayashankar Tiwari spoke about importance of preserving cultural traditions and fostering unity within the society. Organisers, including Parag Joshi and Tushar Piddi, said the rally was aimed at strengthening community engagement and promoting cultural awareness.
