Jaipur: The Sanyukt Abhibhavak Sangh on Friday raised concerns over the Rajasthan High Court’s interim stay on CBSE action against Neerja Modi School, saying the issue extends beyond affiliation and directly impacts student safety, future and education standards. The high court on Wednesday granted interim relief to the school by staying the operation of the CBSE order restricting its senior secondary affiliation. It directed the school to rectify all deficiencies within one month and asked CBSE to conduct a fresh inspection after 45 days. The court also gave the board liberty to approach it again if shortcomings persist. The parents’ body said the CBSE’s move was based on serious irregularities and deficiencies and called for a fair and transparent inquiry. It stressed that no compromise should be made with students’ interests until all issues are fully addressed. “Our focus is that student safety must remain the top priority, and past incidents have already weakened parents’ trust. That trust can only be restored through visible corrective action,” said state spokesperson Abhishek Jain Bittu. He added that if systemic flaws exist in any institution, rectifying them should take precedence over temporary relief measures. The association warned that parents would not accept any negligence or compromise on student safety, mental well-being or quality of education. If concerns are ignored, the group said it would launch a statewide agitation, underscoring growing unease among parents over regulatory oversight and accountability in schools.
