Nagpur: A 50-year-old painter died on the spot after a speeding truck rammed his motorcycle at Shafi Nagar Chowk on Thursday afternoon.The deceased, identified as Dharamchand Shiva, was heading to work around 12.30pm when a speeding truck allegedly hit him. Shiva suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Shiva’s wife, Neetu (36), resident of Ekatmata Nagar, lodged the complaint at Mankapur police station.A case has been registered against the truck driver, identified as Yogesh Pandey (33), under Sections 106(1) and 281 BNS. PSI Nitin Waghule is investigating the matter.
