Hisar: In a significant development linked to the Chanot village water agitation, the administration has acted against over 30 social media accounts allegedly associated with the ongoing protest over the removal of a T-connection from a drinking water pipeline. Accounts reportedly affected belong to individuals associated with farmer groups and members of the protest committee, including Anoop Chanaut, Suresh Kauth, Harf Chhikkara, Sarpanch representative Himanshu, Sukhram, Deepak Duhan and Yogesh Duhan, among others. The protest committee has accused the govt and administration of attempting to suppress their voice in a democratic movement.
