Prayagraj: As part of anti -plastic campaign, volunteers of Paryavaran Sena, an organisation working for environment protection, on Sunday organized a cleanliness drive against single-use plastic at Bojhi village in Mandhata block of Pratapgarh district.Led by Paryavaran Sena chief Ajay Krantikari, the initiative witnessed active participation from rural women and children who helped collect plastic waste. Over 10 kilograms of discarded single-use plastic was collected.Meanwhile, the volunteers under the ‘Bag in Exchange for Plastic’ scheme, distributed cloth and cotton bags among residents.
