Patna: Over 100 final-year postgraduate students from various departments participated in a placement drive organized at the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) on Monday. They registered for faculty positions with multinational firm IB Global Academy and completed the full selection process, including tests and interviews.CUSB’s public relations officer Mohd Mudassir Alam said that students from economics, English, chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, biotechnology, life sciences, and environmental science departments participated in the placement drive. The placement drive began with a pre-placement introductory talk in the CUSB computer lab, followed by a written test and personality test.
“The candidates will be shortlisted for faculty positions in the hiring institution on the basis of their performance in the written test and interview. Finally, selected candidates will be offered a faculty position with a starting package of approximately Rs four lakh per annum, along with other additional benefits,” he said.The selected candidates will be required to join the head office in Gurugram by July-August 2026, where they will receive training and have the opportunity to work as faculty members in their respective subjects of International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, the PRO added.
