Noida: Police arrested four persons for allegedly manufacturing and supplying adulterated paneer to vendors in the city. Cops also recovered over 1,400kg of adulterated paneer, and raw materials used in its production from their possession. One other accused is absconding.DCP (central Noida) said that cops received a tip-off late on Saturday night that a truck loaded with adulterated paneer was en-route for delivery in Noida. A checkpoint was set-up and the truck was stopped for inspection in Sector 63.Police arrested Gulfam (23), Naved (20), and Iqlakh (30). They told cops they were daily wagers working for Faridabad-based men Guddu (30) and Afsar. While Guddu was arrested later on Sunday, Afsar is absconding. Probe revealed that the accused were supplying adulterated paneer in NCR cities.TNN
