Kanpur: A 45-year-old man died and another was seriously injured after a car in which they were travelling crashed into an unidentified vehicle on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Kannauj district on Friday.According to police, the accident occurred when the speeding car rammed into an unidentified vehicle from behind. The impact severely damaged the car.The deceased has been identified as Omveer, a resident of Kitlana village, and his aide, Pradeep (42).Police reached the spot after receiving information, and used a crane to pull both the men out before rushing them to the Govt Medical College for treatment.Doctors declared Omveer dead on arrival, while Pradeep is undergoing treatment.
