Ghaziabad: A 22-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide after jumping from a flyover near CSHP Public School in Siddharth Vihar on Wednesday. Police did not find a suicide note in her belongings and the reason behind the suicide is not clear yet.Police said she was a first-year student of nursing at a private university in Greater Noida’s Kasna. She lived with her father and younger sister in Sector 9 of Pratap Vihar. Her father is a labourer working in the industrial area.ACP Ziauddin Ahmad said they were informed by construction workers and passers-by about the incident around 11am. A police team reached the spot and took her to the hospital where she died during treatment. Her body has been sent for an autopsy and reports are awaited.“Initial investigation revealed that the girl left her home to go to college around 9am. When she reached the flyover near CSHP school in Siddharth Vihar, she jumped off.” he said. “We could not find a suicide note but have taken her mobile phone into custody to investigate the reason behind the suicide. We will also talk to her friends.” No complaint has been filed yet.An eyewitness, Deepak Kumar, said, “I was having tea during a break when I heard a noise. My colleagues and I found the girl lying in a pool of blood. Part of her head had been smashed. We called the police immediately. The cops arrived in four or five minutes and took her to the hospital. “
