Itanagar: Security forces apprehended an active self-styled lieutenant of insurgent outfit NSCN-K (Ang Mai) following a joint operation in the Votnu area of Arunachal Pradesh’s Longding district, an official report said on Friday.The arrested insurgent has been identified as Pigang Gangsa (30), a resident of Votnu village, who holds the rank of self-styled lieutenant in the outfit.Security personnel recovered a 7.65 mm pistol, a magazine and six live rounds of ammunition from his possession during the operation.
