Prayagraj: Apna Dal (S) president Anupriya Patel on Saturday said there were no differences within NDA and claimed that the alliance would form govt in Uttar Pradesh for a third consecutive term in 2027.“All NDA partners would contest the assembly elections together,” she said while addressing a general workers’ dialogue programme in Prayagraj.Rejecting reports of differences, Patel compared the alliance to five fingers of a hand, saying its five constituent parties were firmly united like a fist.“All partners were currently strengthening their organisations across Uttar Pradesh and that workers of all NDA constituents would work together for the victory of whichever alliance candidate contests a particular seat,” she said.On seat-sharing, Patel said there had been no discussion within the NDA so far. She said the immediate priority was to contest all 403 assembly constituencies with a united and strong organisation. She added that every constituency had different caste and local equations and the alliance would decide which partner should field a candidate after considering these factors.Patel said the final seat-sharing arrangement would be decided at an appropriate time with the consent of all alliance partners. Her remarks came amid early organisational preparations by NDA allies for the 2027 election.Referring to the 2017 and 2022 assembly elections, Patel said she expected NDA to receive stronger support in 2027 than in previous polls.Patel added that the district was particularly important for Apna Dal (S) from an organisational perspective. She said the presence of a large number of workers showed their preparedness for the 2027 polls and urged them to strengthen the organisation and step up election preparations.
