Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Thursday dismissed reports of differences with chief minister A Revanth Reddy, stating that there is proper coordination between the party and govt.Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Goud said Congress and govt were not separate entities and asserted that he shared a good working relationship with the chief minister.“There is no gap between the CM and me. We speak on the phone every day,” he said, adding that both leaders discuss issues openly.Rejecting reports about alleged internal disagreements, Goud said there was no culture in Congress of making complaints secretly. “Whatever we have to discuss, we speak directly. We discuss developments happening outside and take decisions collectively,” he said.On the coordination committee meeting, Goud said discussions were held openly and that the panel was created to enable better coordination among leaders. He said flagship programmes and important issues could be discussed in such fora to arrive at better decisions.Clarifying about the seating arrangement at the coordination committee meeting, Goud said the table was oval-shaped and there was a misunderstanding that some leaders were seated in a particular order. He said the review meeting was conducted by party affairs in charge Meenakshi Natarajan as per protocol.Responding to criticism from opposition leaders, Goud said Congress had a history of sacrifices and people would decide the credibility of political parties. He also said legal notices and criticism would be addressed through appropriate fora.
