Patna: Bankipur MLA and Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Wednesday alleged that former Nitish Kumar had been sidelined by those who rose to power using his name. He pointed to the removal of Nitish’s photographs from posters and banners and the emergence of a new political camp.Speaking at a graduates’ meet in Nawada, Kishor said Nitish moved away from the CM’s chair, after which those who had built their politics around his name forgot him.On the MLC elections, Kishor said the electorate comprised some of the most educated voters and claimed they would not sell their votes for Rs 10,000. He appealed to graduates to strengthen what he described as the change that began from Bankipur.
