Srinagar, Mar 23 : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday carried out searches across multiple districts in the Kashmir Valley as part of an ongoing probe into a terror-related case.
Official sources told that the raids were conducted simultaneously in Handwara, Rafiabad, and Kulgam districts, besides other locations in Kashmir.
In Handwara, a team of NIA officials raided the residence of a businessman in the Guloora area.
Sources said that documents and electronic devices were seized during the operation. The federal agency also carried out a raid at the residence of Dr. Bilal Naseer Malla, the son of Naseer Ahmad Malla, in the Bonapora Shatloo area of Rafiabad.
Simultaneous search operations were also reported at multiple locations in Kulgam district.
The searches are part of a broader investigation by the agency into terrorist networks operating in the region.
