Bengaluru/Tumakuru: A newlywed couple, Darshan, 25, and Usharani, 21, died in a road accident at Sira in Tumakuru late Tuesday night.The couple, residents of Hunasekatte village, had married in mid-July. They were travelling on a motorcycle across Dwaralu bridge when an unidentified vehicle rammed into them.Darshan, who worked for a private company, died at the scene. Usharani, a homemaker, sustained injuries and died while being taken to hospital.Three die in road accidentsThree persons, including a 35-year-old homemaker, died in different road accidents reported in the city since Tuesday. A 48-year-old motorist, identified as Keshav, died on the spot after a speeding tipper truck rammed into his bike in Electronics City Tuesday night.The other two accidents were reported in Chikkajala near Yelahanka. Bike rider Chandrappa,71, of Chikkajala, was crushed to death by a truck near Manchappanahalli post-midnight. Homemaker T Bhanu, riding back home after dropping her daughter to college Wednesday morning, succumbed to injuries after a rashly driven Bullet motorbike rammed into her scooter near CMR college.
