Ahmedabad: The new team of Ahmedabad Medical Association (AMA) took charge in an installation ceremony on Sunday. The event was attended by Rivaba Jadeja, MoS (education), and Dr Anil Nayak, president, Indian Medical Association (IMA) among others.Dr Kalpita Dave is the new president of AMA, whereas Dr Maulik Sheth continued his responsibility as secretary. Dr Naitik Patel is treasurer, whereas two vice presidents include Dr Vipul Shah and Dr Sunil Patel. In all, 32 doctors assumed responsibilities in the core team and managing committees, said officials.Jadeja in her address congratulated medical fraternity for dedication and service to society. Dr Dave, sharing her vision, launched Project Pink Ab as preventive healthcare for women, especially for gynaecological cancers.
