Kolkata: Julien Day School, Ganganagar, celebrated a historic milestone on Feb 7, with the inauguration and blessing of its new school building, marking 50 years of its journey from 1976 to 2026. The ceremony began with a brief welcome and call to order by Terence John, director of education and development, Julien Day Schools. It was followed by a special service for the inauguration of the school’s Golden Jubilee celebration. The recessional hymn and benediction were delivered by Rev. Paritosh Canning, moderator, Church of North India and Bishop of Calcutta. He also unveiled the Golden Jubilee plaque followed by the blessing of the Golden Jubilee Building, led by himalong with Fr. Moloy D’Costa, Vicar General, Fr. Dominic Gomes, chancellor and PRO and Rev. Asa Kiran Parichha, associate presbyter, St. Paul’s Cathedral.Felicitation of the clergy by SE Broughton, managing trustee, JG Broughton, school chairman, Joshua Broughton, vice-chairman and Jessica Broughton, digital marketing head was followed by music and dance performances by students.After release of the Golden Jubilee Brochure was the display of a special commemorative cover envelope, specially curated by Kolkata GPO.
