New Delhi: Over the past one year, National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has helped commuters recover around 500 lost or forgotten belongings on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor. The recovered items included laptops, smartphones, iPads, important documents, trolley bags, vehicle keys, clothing, wallets and bags containing cash.“Passengers who lose their belongings while travelling on Namo Bharat can report the matter to the dedicated Lost and Found Centre. If any unattended item is reported to the station staff, security personnel, or is found by any operations staff member or commuter, it is deposited at the Lost and Found Centre at Ghaziabad Namo Bharat station after due documentation,” said an official of NCRTC.People can also report a lost item to customer care centre. The recovered items are listed on the Namo Bharat Connect app and on the official website where commuters can track them, making it easier to reclaim their possessions after verification.
