Nandigram: “You know what will be the result in the place where the chief minister votes,” CM Suvendu Adhikari told reporters after stepping out of a late-night closed-door meeting with BJP candidate Hasirani Rath at Reyapara in Nandigram Block 2 on Tuesday.“You cannot even imagine what will be the margin (of victory). I am a voter here. The place where CM votes you know what will be the result. People are with the CM,” he said.Asked who was likely to finish second, Adhikari said, “Ask Rahul Gandhi?” He also took a dig at Trinamool’s pre-poll claim that change would begin from Nandigram, asking, “For how long will you keep testing the people of Nandigram?”Rath later said Adhikari was scheduled to campaign in Nandigram on Oct 2 and 4 .Actor-turned-MLA Hiran Chatterjee was also seen campaigning aggressively across the constituency on Wednesday, as BJP stepped up its campaign ahead of the Oct 6 bypoll.
