Nagpur: Talented Nagpur shuttler Aditya Yaul made it to the semifinals of the All India Sub-Junior badminton tournament in Bengalaru on Sunday and qualified to represent India at the Asian championship in China. The top four finishers in both the U-15 and U-17 categories secured their berth in the Indian teams.In the U-15 boys singles quarterfinals, Aditya outclassed Yashvardhan Reddy in straight games 23-21, 21-10 to not only clinch the bronze medal but confirmed his berth in the Indian teams.Earlier in the pre-quarterfinal, Aditya surprised fourth seeded Linesh Vaibav in a hard-fought battle 21-18, 23-21.In the semifinal, Aditya will face Taabin Anuf Ahamed on Monday.
