Nagpur: Jaripatka police arrested Rajendra Yadav (40), prime suspect in the murder of Dasiya Uike, whose body was found in a room on farmland in Nara settlement, Jaripatka, on March 8. Initially registered as an accidental death, the case was converted to murder under Section 103(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) following the autopsy, which confirmed death due to blunt force trauma to the abdomen and stomach inflicted by a heavy object.Police identified Rajendra Yadav, who reportedly lived with the deceased as her partner. Acting swiftly, Jaripatka police traced and arrested Yadav in Madhya Pradesh. TNN
