Mangaluru: Mulki police arrested a man on Thursday for allegedly transporting and attempting to sell 4 kg of ganja worth around Rs 2 lakh near Kilpady railway station road. The accused, who has previous criminal cases against him, was arrested during a joint operation by the Panambur ACP team and Mulki police.The accused is Abbas,50, a resident of Hidayath Nagar, Kotekar village, Ullal taluk. A case has been registered at Mulki police station under Sections 8(c) and 20(b) of the NDPS Act.Police said the accused is a repeat offender and has the criminal cases registered against him, with two cases booked against him at the Ullal police station.
