Vadodara: Two students of Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) represented the university at the International Festival of Youth 2026, held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, from Sep 11 to 16.Jash Bhatt, a fifth-semester BA Russian Studies student, and Dhyeyrajsinh Parmar, who is pursuing a post-diploma in Russian Studies, participated in the international youth festival. The students also took part in regional programmes held at various locations across the country from Sep 17 to 22.The festival brought together around 10,000 young participants from 191 countries, offering them an opportunity to exchange ideas, engage in cultural interactions and build international connections.According to the department of Russian studies at the faculty of arts, MSU, the entire trip was funded by the Russian govt, enabling their participation in the academic and cultural exchange programme.
