Surat: MITRAJ Sarvajanik Institute of Design, Planning and Technology (MITRAJ-IDPT), managed by Sarvajanik Education Society and Sarvajanik University, on Wednesday launched a three-day international multidisciplinary conference at its campus.The conference, titled “Designing Identities: Intersections of Art, Architecture, Culture, Religion, Science, Technology & Society”, features speakers and experts from several European countries, including Belgium, Netherlands, and Romania.
A total of 10 speakers from six European countries will present global perspectives on themes related to art, architecture, culture, and religion. The conference aims to examine the interrelationship between art, architecture, culture, religion, science, technology, and society, address developmental challenges, and outline pathways towards a sustainable, equitable, and humane world.As part of the three-day event, various workshops and exhibitions will be organised for students. These include sessions on traditional crafts, theatre, management, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, intellectual property rights, photography, pottery, and communication skills.The inaugural session was attended by Ashish Vakil, chairman of Sarvajanik Education Society and Persi Engineer, principal of MITRAJ-IDPT, along with other dignitaries from India and abroad.
