Wardha: A 17-year-old boy allegedly stabbed his uncle and cousin to death during a wedding procession in Mahila Ashram area of Wardha on Saturday night, police said. The incident is believed to have been triggered by an old land dispute. The deceased have been identified as Ritesh (24) and Prabhakar Bhalme (50), both residents of Barbadi village. The minor accused was apprehended by guests attending the wedding procession immediately after the attack and was later handed over to the police. Eyewitnesses said the procession was passing near Mahila Ashram locality when the minor entered into an argument with his uncle, cousin. The exchange quickly escalated, and he allegedly stabbed both. Both died on the spot. Police have started a probe in the matter.
