Kanpur: A 15-year-old high school was allegedly abducted and raped in Etawah on Tuesday morning.The girl’s family has accused a youth from the neighbourhood. Police are investigating the matter.Girl’s family members said that the student left home on Tuesday morning for school. On the way, the accused stopped her and forcibly took her to a village where she was raped. The accused then threatened the girl that he would kill her and her family if she revealed the incident to anyone.The girl returned in evening crying and told her mother about the incident. The family then lodged a complaint with the police.The girl’s father alleged that the accused had been harassing the girl for a long time. He and his associates were pressuring the family and the accused youth had come to their house on Wednesday as well, he said.The officer in charge of Friends Colony police station said the girl underwent a medical examination at the hospital on Wednesday evening. Further action will be taken on the basis of the facts and evidence that have emerged in the case.
