Hassan: Revenue minister and Hassan district minister Krishna Byre Gowda directed officials to work responsibly and deliver benefits to the poor.The minister, who reviewed progress of development projects at Hassan ZP on Saturday, said 4,444 of the 4,538 applications received during Janaspandana across the district were disposed of. “But some applications have not been disposed of properly,” he said.Prioritise joint surveys and issue documents to eligible beneficiaries immediately. Many Register of Revenue Tenancy or Record of Rights applications are still coming in, showing problems remain unresolved, he said.Pulling up KRDCL officials, the minister said the road between Hassan and Periyapatana has developed potholes. “If quality was good, how can it get washed away? Even as it’s getting damaged, work is continuing. What is your responsibility?” he questioned the officials.Deputy commissioner Latha Kumari, ZP CEO Shubham Shukla, SP Shubhanwita Shukla, DCF Saurabh Kumar were present.
