Srinagar, Oct 10: According to the weather forecast issued today by Meteorological Centre Srinagar, a brief spell of light rain, with light snowfall over higher reaches, is expected at scattered to many places on October 10.
The weather is likely to remain generally dry on October 11 and 12. On October 13 and 14, generally cloudy conditions are expected, accompanied by light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds at many places.
The forecast further indicates generally dry weather on October 15 and 16, with a brief spell of light rain possible at a few places. Dry conditions are likely to prevail from October 17 to 22.
The MET Centre has advised farmers to continue harvesting and ensure the safe storage of harvested apples and paddy.
It has also warned of the possibility of thunder and gusty winds on October 10 and October 13–14.
