Hyderabad: The AICC in charge of Telangana Congress affairs, Meenakshi Natarajan on Wednesday held one-on-one meetings with district Congress committee presidents and took feedback on their work in convincing people to participate in SIR, and their contribution on social media to take govt welfare programmes to the people.She also enquired about the internal differences between the party leaders, including the row over appointment of mandal presidents in Thungathurthy constituency, the allegations against the youth Congress chief over disrespect to women leaders and BCs in the party, and took suggestions on strengthening the party and bringing it back to power with a bigger majority in the next elections.Meenakshi, along with TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, will meet chief minister A Revanth Reddy soon to discuss the appointments to be made to the posts of chairpersons to various corporations that fell vacant after the incumbent chiefs completed two years of their tenure recently.In a related development, Mahesh Kumar Goud said about 50 nominated posts would be filled up by the month end. In an informal interaction with the media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, he said the possibility of renominating “good performers” cannot be ruled out but made it clear that no decision has been taken till date on this issue.However, he said that DCC heads may be replaced if their performance was found to be unsatisfactory.
