The Authority has already allotted 120 industrial plots for the park

Noida: The medical device park coming up in Sector 28 will be a “major manufacturing hub”, providing an end-to-end MedTech ecosystem in north India, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) additional CEO Shailendra Bhatia told an investors’ meet on Thursday.“The Authority has already allotted 120 industrial plots and over 20 companies have started construction of their manufacturing units,” Bhatia told a gathering at MedTech Investors’ Meet at India Expo Mart.Spread over 350 acres, the park is located 3km from Noida International Airport, connecting it to global and domestic markets.It will offer common scientific and infrastructural services, including rapid prototyping, artificial intelligence laboratories and a common warehouse in one place, reducing the cost of production and giving a push to product development, the additional CEO said, adding that institutions like IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, Invest UP and Export Promotion Council are also providing academic and institutional support.Units at the park will be eligible for incentives, including capital interest subsidy, stamp duty exemption, support for skill development, quality certification and marketing assistance.Investors in sectors such as radiology and imaging, implants, in-vitro diagnostics, anaesthesia and respiratory devices and cardiology and cancer care have started showing interest in the park.
