Hyderabad: A complaint alleging irregularities in the deployment of govt school teachers was submitted to the District Educational Officer (DEO) of Medchal-Malkajgiri district, raising concerns about teacher availability and its impact on classroom instruction.According to the complaint, several teachers posted under the MEO – 2 jurisdiction are not working in their allotted schools despite being officially assigned there. The complainant stated that, while records show 337 teachers posted in the mandal, a significant number are reportedly not performing duties in their designated institutions. The complaint claims that four teachers are currently working in administrative offices, while 13 teachers are attached to other schools instead of their original postings. In addition, around 80 teachers are said to be irregular in attending their duties, which has reportedly created difficulties in managing academic activities in several schools.Due to the shortage of teachers in classrooms, some schools are struggling to conduct regular lessons and complete the academic schedule. The complainant alleged that these irregular deployments and absences are affecting the quality of education and disrupting normal teaching in govt schools. The representation urged the DEO of Medchal–Malkajgiri district to initiate a detailed inquiry into the matter and review the existing teacher deployments. It also requested that unnecessary attachments be cancelled and that teachers be directed to report back to their originally allotted schools so that classes can function smoothly.
