Construction activities were a major source of dust, officials said. They also found several ready-mix concrete (RMC) plants operating along the stretch and portions of the road damaged. The team included joint commissioner Puneet Kumar, Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) regional officer Siddharth Bhargav, district town planner Rajendra Sharma, MCM Swachh Bharat Mission executive engineer Nijesh Kumar and sub-divisional officer Vipin Boora, among others.Officials said interim measures will be taken to mitigate dust levels while the committee finalises its findings, including regular water sprinkling and cleaning through mechanical sweeping machines to reduce airborne particles. Based on its findings, the civic body is expected to initiate action against individuals or entities found violating environmental norms and regulations.
