Ducati’s Marc Marquez pulled off an unlikely victory at the Spanish Grand Prix sprint on Saturday (April 25, 2026) despite crashing in treacherous conditions before swapping bikes in a race that descended into chaos as rain wreaked havoc in Jerez.
Spain’s reigning MotoGP champion claimed his second sprint victory of the season, beating teammate Francesco Bagnaia for a Ducati one-two while VR46 Racing’s Franco Morbidelli completed the podium after starting 18th on the grid.
