Mangaluru: A final-year MBBS student died after allegedly jumping from the 12th floor of an apartment in Attavar, within the limits of Mangaluru South police station, Monday.The deceased has been identified as Sarthak Maurya, 22. Police sources said the reason behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.Sarthak was staying in a hostel, but reportedly went to the apartment where the incident occurred. Police said a case will be registered after his parents arrive in the city. They are expected to reach Mangaluru Tuesday.
