Kanpur: Mayank Khanna and Varsha Singhania have been nominated as president and vice president of Merchant Chamber of Uttar Pradesh in the first council meeting of financial year 2026-27.Besides them, Anurag Lohia, Ajay Kumar Sarawagi, Anil Kumar Agarwal, Ashish Singh Chauhan, Akash Goenka, Dr J N Gupta, Partho Pratim Kar, Prem Manohar Gupta, R K Agarwalo, Rohit Agarwal, Sandeep Gupta, Tarun Garg, Vijay Kumar Pandey, Shyam Mehrotra and Sushil Sharma have been nominated as council members.All the new nominated members will assume their duties during the annual general meeting scheduled to be held in Sept 2026.The Merchants Chamber of Uttar Pradesh is confident that the new Governing Council, drawing upon its experience, leadership and foresight, will strengthen the interests of the business community and make a significant contribution to the industrial and commercial development of the state.
