Her upcoming album, ‘Maitreya Corso,’ set for May 1st release, explores themes of peace, creativity, and love.

In one of her recent interviews, Hawke opened up about her music process and how she is inspired, citing that Taylor Swift has had the most influence over what she makes and puts out in the world.

While talking to Rolling Stone about her music and career as an artist, she revealed that she is an ultimate Swiftie. Talking about who inspires her the most when it comes to music, Hawke was quick to answer by sharing Taylor Swift’s name. She revealed that Swift’s music not only influenced her, but also many other people, citing that she inspired many to listen to her music and make them feel that they are worth something, including her. She also added, “‘My feelings could matter, and the details of it could matter, my personal stories.’ Of course, it’s a Chekhovian thing, but I was hugely influenced by her.” The 27 year old also admitted that she was one of the biggest fans of the ‘Opalite’ singer. “You could start any song from any word, and I would be able to know where you were and finish it probably,” she quipped.

Maya Hawke is all set and ready for the release of her album, ‘Maitreya Corso.’ The album will be released worldwide on May 1. Collaborating with her partner, Christian Lee Hutson, it is said to consist of a total of 13 songs and is centered around the idea of protecting peace, creativity, and love. The album’s title song is ‘Devil You Know.’Other than that, she also last appeared on the romantic comedy, ‘Wishful Thinking’, in which she stars opposite Lewis Pullman.
