Akola: The car of Rahul Karade, Akola city chief of Shiv Sena (UBT), was allegedly vandalised by unidentified masked persons in Lokhande Layout, Umri, Akola on Friday night. The incident took place under Civil Lines police station limits when Karade was not at home, reports Dhananjay Sable. Karade said eyewitnesses later told him that the attackers were heard threatening to kill him. He informed Akola superintendent of police Archit Chandak and lodged a complaint.Balapur MLA Nitin Deshmukh condemned the attack and demanded immediate arrest of the assailants. Police conducted a spot inspection.
