The conference, positioned as an Indo-USA-UK Clinical Corridor on trauma and acute care, saw participation from experts across countries including the US, UK and Saudi Arabia. The event recorded over 1,100 registrations and featured more than 20 scientific sessions focusing on key aspects of trauma care.

Sessions covered areas such as integrated trauma care, emergency readiness, systemic trauma, ER management, global trauma trends, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), military chest trauma, trauma networks, triage systems, disaster care and quality assurance.

Among the key announcements, the hospital network unveiled an Indo-UK educational corridor in collaboration with the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) aimed at strengthening ER systems in India.

It also launched the ‘Red Park Nursing Programme’, an 18-month training initiative in partnership with the NHS that aims to train over 250 nurses across India. The programme seeks to empower nurses with advanced clinical skills and decision-making capabilities to enhance patient safety.

Additionally, Marengo Asia Hospitals announced the introduction of the MarengoVation Award for trauma innovation, the Good Samaritan Award, and ITACC Excellence Awards recognising achievements in emergency and critical care.

The company also outlined a road safety initiative in collaboration with Tata Motors to develop a Comprehensive Trauma Management System (CTMS) along key highway corridors including Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Nagpur and Delhi-Varanasi.

“ITACC 2.0 is about building lasting ecosystems. Meaningful transformation in trauma and acute care comes from integrating global clinical expertise with frontline empowerment,” said Dr Raajiv Singhal, Founding Member, Managing Director and Group CEO of Marengo Asia Hospitals.

He added that the initiatives aim to build accountable systems combining clinical protocols, nurse leadership and accessible specialty care to improve emergency response and patient outcomes.

Marengo Asia Hospitals said the conference reinforced its focus on integrating global expertise with local healthcare needs to improve trauma care delivery.

The hospital network currently operates over 2,500 beds across four facilities and has a team of more than 600 doctors.
