Kanpur: A man in Etawah district allegedly threw his wife and 4-year-old son from the first floor of their house in the city’s Lodhi Mohalla after a fight over monetary issues on Tuesday night.Neighbours took the seriously injured mother-son to the district hospital. The accused remains absconding.Sunita (27), a resident of Lodhi Mohalla, alleged that her husband, Sonu (32), came home drunk on Tuesday night and started arguing over money. When the argument escalated, she said, he threw her and their son Rishi from the first floor of the house. Hearing her screams, the neighbours arrived at the spot and took them to the hospital.Sonu often consumed alcohol and on Tuesday night too he was intoxicated and started arguing with her over monetary issue, she said.The accused worked in the pantry at railway station. After the incident, he fled from the spot.Police said the incident was being investigated. A case would be lodged and legal action will be taken after receiving a complaint from the victim. Police were searching for the accused.
