Prayagraj: A 30-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed by her husband with a kitchen knife in front of their children following a domestic dispute in Prayagraj’s Thatheri Bazaar area on Thursday. The accused later surrendered before the police.The victim, identified as Sashi Gupta, was rushed to SRN Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment. Doctors said her condition is stable.DCP (City) Maneesh Shandilya said Sashi had been married to Abhishek Gupta for about 12 years, and the couple had been facing frequent domestic disputes.According to the officer, Abhishek allegedly attacked his wife with a kitchen knife, leaving her seriously injured. After the incident, he went to the police station and surrendered.Police have taken the accused into custody and initiated further legal proceedings.
