Bahadurgarh: Police in Bahadurgarh have arrested a woman and her son for allegedly opening fire on the woman’s husband, leaving him with bullet injuries, officials said on Friday.The accused were arrested by the Sector-6 Bahadurgarh police and produced before a court, which sent them to judicial custody.According to Sector 6 police station in-charge sub-inspector Satyaveer, the incident was reported after Joginder, a resident of Sakhoul, approached the police following the alleged firing at his residence.In his complaint, Joginder stated that he had been employed with the PAO. He alleged that on September 23, his wife and son broke open the lock of a locker and took out his licensed pistol kept inside it.Bahadurgarh: Police here on Friday claimed to have arrested a woman and her son for firing at her husband and leaving him critically injured.The two were arrested by the Sector-6 Bahadurgarh police and produced before a court, which sent them to judicial custody.According to sub-inspector Satyaveer, in charge of Sector 6 police station, the incident came to light after Joginder, a resident of Sakhoul, approached the police following the alleged firing at his residence.In his complaint, Joginder stated that he was employed with the PAO. He claimed that on Sept 23, his wife and son broke open a locker and took out his licensed pistol kept inside.Joginder further alleged that when he entered the house, the duo suddenly opened fire at him, hitting him in the leg. As he tried to flee on a motorcycle to save his life, his wife allegedly fired at him again, with the second bullet hitting him in the abdomen.Despite sustaining serious injuries, Joginder reportedly managed to reach the police station, from where police took him to the Bahadurgarh civil hospital.Police said they acted promptly on the complaint and arrested Joginder’s wife and their son Sagar. A pistol and 28 live cartridges were also recovered from the scene, police added.The mother-son duo were subsequently produced before a court and remanded in judicial custody. Further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is underway, police said.
