In front of his children and wife, Maheshwari allegedly abused Sharma over the phone and threatened him to repay the interest. A report was filed at the Transport Nagar police station. When he did not receive a satisfactory response, he set himself ablaze outside the police station. Police, however, said that the entire case is being probed.
