Ghaziabad: A 35-year-old man died on Friday, a day after he was allegedly stabbed repeatedly in the chest by two bike-borne assailants near a primary school in Jalalpur village in Muradnagar. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and police are investigating all possible angles, an officer said.Himanshu Chaudhary, who worked at a private company in Sahibabad, was returning home on his scooter around 8pm on Thursday when two men on a motorcycle allegedly intercepted him near the school and attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon.He collapsed as the assailants fled. After he lay at the spot for some time, a passerby riding a motorcycle noticed him and took him to his house. His family members rushed him to a nearby hospital after finding him bleeding profusely.As his condition deteriorated, he was referred to Niwok Hospital in Modinagar, where he died early Friday morning after losing a substantial amount of blood.Police registered an FIR against unidentified suspects on murder charges based on a complaint filed by Himanshu’s father. Three teams have been formed to identify and arrest the assailants. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and police are investigating all possible angles.ACP (Masuri circle) Sunil Kumar Bhardwaj said, “Efforts are underway to identify and arrest the accused, and the case will be solved soon.”Meanwhile, Himanshu’s cousin, Happy Singh, alleged that negligence during treatment at Niwok Hospital contributed to his death. He claimed that doctors did not arrive on time, medicines were not administered promptly and Himanshu continued to bleed without being referred to another facility in time. The family has submitted a complaint at Niwari police station over the alleged lapses.However, the director of Niwok Hospital, Sachin Ahlawat, rejected the allegations, describing them as baseless.Himanshu lived in Jalalpur with his father, Sunil Chaudhary, and other family members. He was married to Pooja, but the couple had reportedly been embroiled in a marital dispute for some time. According to local sources, Pooja had been staying at her parental home for an extended period. Police have not confirmed whether the dispute was linked to the murder.
