Man kills father in Buxar: A 74-year-old man, Shivshankar Tiwari alias Pehalwan Tiwari, was allegedly beaten to death by his son, Sheshnath Tiwari alias Bablu, over a property dispute in Suraundha village under Dumraon police station area of Buxar district on Thursday. The victim’s wife, Prema Devi, was injured while trying to intervene. According to Buxar SP Shubham Arya, the accused allegedly attacked his father with the wooden handle and fled. Police later recovered the weapon. An FIR has been lodged and raids are underway to arrest the accused, Arya said.
