Times News NetworkChandigarh: The UT police have arrested a man for allegedly trying to smuggle heroin into the city from Ramdarbar on Wednesday. The police produced the accused before a local court that has sent him to judicial custody.The Sector 31 police said the accused was identified as Prince ,a resident of phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh.A police team from Sector 31 police station was patrolling in Ramdarbar to keep a tab on anti-social elements in the area and were checking commuters when accused Prince was seen coming towards the police party on foot. As the accused noticed the cops, he turned around and tried to flee. However, cops chased and caught him. During search, police claimed to have recovered 13.60 gram heroin from his possession. The police then arrested Prince.Now, the cops have been investigating about his supplier of drugs and accused’s local drug network
