Varanasi: To falsely implicate his girlfriend’s family for opposing their relationship, a 27-year-old law student allegedly threatened a senior advocate, saying he would bomb the lower court and kill him. However, the SOG and surveillance team tracked the number within hours, nabbing the suspect.The accused, Ajit Kumar Saroj, had allegedly sent an SMS to the advocate on Thursday morning that read: “Banaras kachehri ko hum bomb se uda deinge aur tumhe bhi (We will blow up Varanasi court and you too).” Within hours, a police team, led by Bhelupur SHO Sudhir Kumar Tripathi, arrested the youth.An FIR was registered under various sections of BNS at Bhelupur police station. During interrogation, Saroj revealed that he used his girlfriend’s phone to send threats, trying to frame her family for opposing their relationship.
