Pune: The Samarth police on Tuesday arrested a man (23), son of a police constable, for sodomizing a minor boy (12) around 7.30 pm on Sunday at a police colony in the city.The minor boy is also a son of a police constable. The minor’s mother (30) lodged a complaint with the police on Monday.Deputy commissioner of police (Zone I) Krushikesh Rawale told TOI, “The unemployed man approached the boy and promised to give him a chocolate. He then took the boy to an isolated room on the police colony premises. He then sodomised the boy.”“Before allowing the boy to leave the isolated room, the man threatened him of dire consequences if he told about his acts to anyone else,” he said.Rawale said, “The boy did not narrate what had happened with him and stayed quiet. However, his mother realised that the boy was behaving differently and asked him. Following this, the boy narrated the entire incident to her.”
