Vadodara: A man who knocked down three persons while driving through the old city area was arrested by police on Thursday. The accused, identified as Dhruv Patel (29), a resident of Ajwa-Nimeta Road, was driving along the busy Mandvi Road late on Wednesday night.Police said Patel first hit a woman walking along the roadside. When passers-by tried to stop him, he allegedly sped up in an attempt to flee, hitting two more persons before escaping via Panigate Road.Investigators tracked him down using CCTV footage from the area. He has been booked for rash driving and endangering human life.
