Vadodara: A man allegedly assaulted two police personnel on the premises of a city court on Thursday. Police apprehended the accused, Gaurang Patel, and have registered a complaint against him.According to police, the incident took place inside a courtroom in the Diwalipura area, where Patel was seated in what a police constable considered an improper manner. When the constable asked him to sit properly, he became enraged, got up and assaulted the policeman before threatening him.Patel then ran out of the courtroom in an attempt to escape. However, another police constable intercepted him near the court’s main gate. Patel assaulted the second policeman as well before being overpowered by cops. He was taken to the Akota police station, where a complaint was registered against him.
