Vadodara: A man was found murdered at Dashrath village early on Friday morning. Umed Vasava was killed by unidentified persons while guarding a plot near his house. Chhani police said that 45-year-old Vasava used to work in a garage for a living.Vasava’s father worked as a guard at the plot. “As his father had undergone surgery, Vasava offered to work in his stead for a few nights,” said Ravi Prajapati, Chhani police inspector. On Thursday night, Vasava went to the plot but when he didn’t return on Friday morning, his family went looking for him.They found Vasava in a pool of blood. Prajapati said that Vasava was probably struck with a stone on the head. The deceased’s family told police they didn’t have enmity with anyone.
